Does the trigger bar lean against the right side of the frame (looking towards the muzzle)? It should.

You need to take pics and show us what it looks like. It's hard to diagnose the problem without looking at it.

What V1 parts did you get? They shouldn't make any difference, unless these parts came from a P30, P2000/SK or HK45/45C and you try to fit them into a USP. The USPc parts may fit the USP full-size with the exception of the bobbed hammer, I think. Did you get the bobbed or spurred hammer?

Can you take a close-up of the disconnector? Or better yet, if you could remove the catch and show us how the disconnector is installed in the frame, that'd be best.

Thanks for the close-ups of the disconnector. I thought I saw something but I was wrong.
With regards to the catch, the bottom part of the catch wedges between the flat spring and the hammer, right? There are 2 prongs on the flat spring. The sear sits on the left and the catch is on the right. The bottom of the catch should be between the hammer and the right prong of the flat spring.

The catch looks right. The picture of the catch in the USP 45 is probably the old style.
