The magazine body and caliber stamp remind me of MKE production mags. The follower isn’t typical MKE style so Vector could have assembled them from parts and sold them as theirs? At that time I remember the 40s where everywhere and any other size was hard to find and expensive. Sorry to not have a clear answer.
Okay... so you are looking for someone to speculate on if they are Vector refinished magazines? Can't speak to the refinishing... they appear to be straight up HK magazines is all anyone can say. That marking you are showing is indicative of older HK magazines... right down to the stamping being weak on the upper part of the 5's
Ok let me rephrase my question. Does anyone have a new in box 33/53/93 from the mid 2000’s with the mag they included in a clear plastic bag just like this. Some of them came with 40 rnd mags not in plastic. All were refinished mags.
I have a vector bought new back in the day before they got shut down. It came with a 40 round Malaysian contract magazine not in plastic. The V53 was very good clone.
