I have a V93 and I was wondering what the barrel's origin was. There are some markings on it but nothing I'm familiar with. I see an "IN", what looks like a little sun, and some markings I can't quite make out.

I contacted Vector and they told me the rifle is still under warranty and the guy who assembles them said they use a German barrel with a 1 in 12 twist. Are the markings I mentioned conclusive to being a German barrel? I had read that Vector uses US, German and Malaysian barrels in their builds.

Most likely a Malaysian barrel. What im still unsure of is where they are Mfg. Ive heard Malay. has all the tooling there, and also that the Germans made them all and sent them to Malay.

The US barrels that were used were typically unmarked. Also if the flash hider is pinned on then its definitely a non US barrel.

Swolff is right according to my experience. My 33K was built with a maya kit and has the same barrel markings.
