Sorry for the thread resurrection, but it has saved me making what would have been a misguided purchase. I saw a V93 today in a local shop with S/N U0233. That's just 5 off the number on your "sold as a stripped receiver" rifle. A lot more research will have to be done as far as the provenance of the receiver and the builder before I even think about proceeding. Thanks.
Vector V93 Serial Numbers
Just picked up a V93 with what appears to be a low serial number.
Is there any rhyme or reason to their numbering system, date of
manufacture, problems vs number range, etc? Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Have not shot it yet but it looks like a nice piece so far.
