I do not know why, but the website was a total PITA for me; could not order it from my iPhone and even on my laptop it was acting funky.

I used the link in the email I received about the pre-release ordering.

James has confirmed this is the last in the series.

Of course I get the notification exactly 18 hours after I ordered 2 AR15 volumes and now I can't take advantage of the multi-book discount... FM!
I'm not particularly interested in the 416 series but if it's the last book I suppose I have to complete the collection!

The fourth volume covers all of the rilfes and special application weapons (sniper rifles, machineguns, grenade launchers and special projects), starting with the G11 and going until present. It, like the three previous volumes is a massive reference of HK weapons, history, detailed phots and supporting imagery, much of which has never been seen.

Does it include pics of the beard?

@Teufelshund Tactical would know better than me, but I don't think they will reprint without also updating. I do know that a second edition of V1 is going to happen, but not sure on the other ones.
Will the updated pages or content be made available to those of us who bought the books the first time around? I can't be buying subsequent editions solely in order to get the updates.

No. When a 2nd edition book is released, by any company, it is a separate book, not a envelope mailed out with additional pages to previous purchasers.

I was going to say the same thing @rambo-2000
All companies that release updated versions of books or manuals with new information treat it like a standard reprint. It’s up to you to buy it. They aren’t mailing the new updated content to previous customers otherwise they lose out on all that revenue from repeat purchases.

The new Vickers guide AR15 volume 1 has 24 new pages of content. So when I saw that, I gave my original version to my LGS FFL as a gift since it was still brand new. He was excited to get it and told me he put it next to the HK Vol 2 I gave him last year. Then proceeded to give me a huge discount on a Ruger pistol I was buying.
