I have a chance to pick up a VP40 and saw that HK has a 357 Sig barrel for the VP. While I am not a fan of the 40SW, I do love the VP and the 357 Sig round. Has anyone done the conversion to 357Sig and if so, what were your impressions? Thanks

Start here... one of a few past threads on this subject... I put only a few hundred rounds through my VP40 so far with no issues/malfunctions of any kind (knock on wood)... taking it out again tomorrow to shoot another 100 or so rounds... drop the barrel in and that's it... same RSA and mags...

PS - Does "HK" have one now or is this the conversion barrel you are referring to?

You mean HKParts I think . I put the RCM 357 SIG barrel in my VP40 and it works fine. I had a couple of K rounds of 357 SIG ammo so buying the barrel was a no brainer . Cases go about 10' to 12' about 3:30 . I'm up to about to about 600 rounds with NO F of ANY kind . Great platform for that cartridge .
