Hi,

I apparently am unable to remove the VP40 Locking Block using the "Hot to Detail Strip a VP9" picture tutorial.

I have removed the #7-Roll Pin for the Locking Block in his Parts Identification, along with the #12 Trigger Stop Bolt

I am at Step 10 and the Locking Block will not budge.

The #7-Roll Pin is a single pin right?... Not a pin inside another pin?

Did you remove all the parts as outlined, up to step #10?

This got me too. You have to remove both pins. It is a pin within a pin kind of deal. I studied TooSixy's pics and saw that he had removed both pins. If you scroll down to the 2nd pic for step #15 you'll see a roll pin with a squiggly cut. That's the outer pin or as described in the thread, the clamping sleeve. Anyway, they both have to come out and the block nearly jumps out after the trigger stop bolt is removed.

Edit: I have posted a clarification in post #82 of that thread describing that the pin and sleeve must be removed. I also added what I did to free the trigger stop bolt without damaging anything.
