Hasn't there been mi-spec pin compatible MR556A1 uppers on the market for some time now?

Those uppers have been parted out from complete MR rifles. Like the 416 upper kit, this is just the upper only so hopefully that it is a sanctioned by HK, the price gouging for uppers will subside for those that just want the upper.

I was hoping around $1500. I could sell a few uppers and replace them with HK ones. I'm not surprised with the weak dollar, high R&D costs, etc.

I just need to earn more money spending less time than I currently do. LOL!

Isn't the MR556 listed at $3295 still? I don't know anyone who paid that for it. As mentioned, you can find them for $2400. If they list the upper at $2000, paying $1200 for it isn't unreasonable.
