A unicorn arrived in my mailbox yesterday. A NIB KAC RAS 97918. So, I went ahead and ordered the H&K MP5 30mm Aimpoint Comp RAS Mount 99048. Description from KAC-"While originally designed for use with an Aimpoint Comp-type red dot sight, this mount is also compatible with any other 30mm red dot optic."

I know the older CompM2 (M68) fits. So I found a NIB CompM3 and NIB ML3. (I love the older styles. The sillouette, the outline. Classic!) The important thing to note is how the clamp attaches the optic. The newer M4 & M5 has a battery compartment in the way.

So, what do you have that you use? What do you have or have seen fits in the RAS mount? Pics help. Will post when I get mine together.

The Pro is the successor to the older Comps, and has killer battery life. For the price and features, Aimpoint Pro is a great optic.

A slightly cheaper option is the ACO, which has lesser electronics/battery life.

M4 and M4S use different mounts. The M5 is not a 30mm and uses the micro mounts.
