Please delete...sorry

What should I buy next? I like pistol caliber subguns as well as .223 caliber.

Professional Arms' MK5 clone or another Coharie and turn into MP5SD?
Any suggestion?

I think IGF and only a few actually does clone SD convresion.
I was quoted somewhere $1K+ side and you must supply locking piece & SD handguard.

I've always wanted SD, but missed Vector SD boat....sniffs:670:

Coolhand,

What did you find about SD conversions on clones? Can you get it done?

Thanks,

Answered my own question by going to the site....

Locking piece is $80 from Adam
The handguard is $149 from Gordon

Thanks for the info Coolhand. It seems that you and I are chasing each other around these boards, but you've got quite a lead on your collection as the HK94 conversion on it's way is our first HK long gun. Thanks for sharing the info...someday I hope to buy you a beer!

As for your question at the beginning, I vote for the SD, but you've had clone problems in the past it seems, did they ever get solved? ...were the normal pieces exchanged? Given that I'm surprised you'd even consider the clone again.

Hmmmm.... did I hear BEER! :)

Unfortunately, my Coharie clone is still not working 100% as of today...
I've changed w/ HK extractor, copper pin, ejector, ejector spring, etc.
Also, I'm only using HK factory mag and S&B as my primary ammo (good stuff).

Next week, I'm going to send it out to my smith for some tweaking... forget about Coharie's warranty service, they don't even return my calls.

Good luck on your HK collection and TTL! :)
