I have been trying to decide on some night sights for my USP. I've got Trijicon HDs on several of my pistols, and XS sights (the smaller version) on a Glock 30.

Leaning towards the HDs but what other sights have you all here tried and really liked?

Thanks in advance.

Right now my Fullsize USP .45 wears Meprolight Orange rear Green front, they are getting dimmer, going to go with Trijicon, not the HD tho

Trijicon HD's work beautifully on my USP's. I don't like them on the P30/VP9 because of the slanted rear sight, it's really sharp. But the USP version doesn't sit so far back.

I have Meps adjust Sup height on the USPT and on the HK45T Heinie 8's. From this point forward, all will be Heinie one day. Tighter groups.

I think the vertical sight alignment is more in line with faster processing, as your eye-brain system is aligning 2 objects instead of 3. And, we raise our sights in alignment with our eyes in a more vertical fashion than horizontal anyway.

No true evidence to support this but it makes intuitive sense to me.

This is the reason why I think my eyes like the vertical sets like straight 8s and XS configurations. Feels faster..

Just "dot the i" ..... I think as long as you stay consistent across the weapons used, you'll be fine. I'm all over the place after shooting with big dots, and then picking up a weapon with 3 dots.. stay consistent is the name of the game

Have them on a custom Colt Govt built by Steve Morrison of MARS Guns. Nice sights, in dark I struggle with how much space to put between the dots, daytime no issues
Me Too!!! Otherwise I love them. But do I line up dot on dot? or how much space between? And I've found it differs from application to application. I don't find that problem with XS sights... and No, I don't have any affiliation with XS :) I pay retail

I have Ameriglo IDot pros on 2 pistols as well that use this vertical principle.

Seems that the vertical alignment sights are:

XS/24/7 sights
Heinie Straight 8s
Ameriglo IDot pro
