Early on, I wanna say 1994, 1995. I have a date code 94 USP 40 Cal, it's a spiral rifled barrel versus a polygonal rifled barrel. I assume that's what you meant. I don't know about the newer weapons, I am pretty sure my other two that are newer are poly-rifled. "World of HK" on the front page might have the exact answer.

That sounds correct- I believe that the first 2-3 years had that barrel configuration.

What year - how to translate the date code

A more general question: How do you translate the two-letter date code
into the year of manufacture?

Can someone explain the difference? I am not really sure what it is. Are polygonal barrels better than lands and grooves?

What kind of barrels do the P2000 and P2000sk have?
