The 1st pic in #69 is taken w/ a very short focal length lens very close to the weapon. Not only does the slide look distortedly high, but, the frame gives the viewer the impression of receding toward the rear at the edges. The reason for this effect is that the difference in the distances between the lens and the point directly in front of the lens's center and that between the lens and the edges of the image area is large. Taken w/ a longer focal length from farther away, those two distances would be relatively closer to each other and would not show such apparent distortion. The overly large height of the slide compared to the grip indicates, too, that the pic was taken from closer to the slide's position than centered over, say, the trigger guard.
