Hey all. So I'm thinking of getting a new birthday present for myself (its May 29th if you wanna write it down) and I just keep looking at an HK45. I love the way it feels in my hands and I'm a big .45 fan

Now I already own a USP .45 and I absolutely love it. Besides the differences in weight, magazine capacity, and looks do you any of you own both or have fired both and can tell me if there is a major difference?

I honestly wanna get one anyway just to increase my HK collection and I know the HK45 is a fantastic firearm. Just looking for some honest opinions

Thanks!

Shorter trigger reset in the HK45 versus USP 45. YMMV.
YMMV indeed. Especially since all of the trigger related components are interchangeable.

Are you going to ask us if you prefer blondes, brunettes, or redheads, too? Seriously, they make different guns for a reason - because people are different and have different desires. We can't tell you what your desires are. Just go buy one, already. If you don't like it, you know exactly where to bring it to find a new loving home. :440:

If you were looking into your 1st HK, I'd say, "Go w/ the HK45."

Since you already have a USP fs .45, then there is room for discussion and consideration:

The USP fs and HK45 do essentially the same jobs: full sized combat handguns, each having minor advantages over the other. So, with your second purchase, do you want two weapons that have the same function, or might you want to get another model that has a different role?

If the latter, the USPc .45 or the HKc45, or their tactical brothers give better concealment possibilities and 10 rd mags.

It's obviously your $.
