OK, last night i handled a new in box hk expert 45 at a local gunshop, price around 1200 which i am sure they will come off of it a little so that got the wheels turning. The trigger pull was amazing compared to my usp/uspc's. How does it compare or what are the differences in the expert and elite? Which one should i get and why? OR should i just get a new hk 45c? Thanks, it will be just for some time passing cardboard killing and sitting in my safe with all the others.

45c is do just about anything type of pistol. It is able to be carried and Mine wears a threaded barrel for my suppressor.

I have a 45 expert and I'm sure it will be a range toy and safe queen.

So it depends on what you want.

The biggest thing you're feeling is that match trigger. Both have it.

Between the two, if it's strickly for punching paper, I would go with the elite for the longer slide. In .45 that's really the only difference that I know of. Diff'r'nt strokes for diff'r'nt folks, you may not like the longer slide/sight radius. Some shooting matches (if that's your thing) have size limitations on guns and the elite might be too long.
