At the end of the day, I just don't quite get it... What is SOOOO cool about the 416?
I guess if you are in the sand box and not lubing your m16 heavily as the current doctrine calls for, I get it.
But I don't think any Leo or civi really needs one. Especially not a civi at the current market price. At 1200 to 1500, I would probably buy one. But more than that?!?
I was ready to buy one a couple of months ago and even pay up to 3K (imagine my generosity).
But then I got to shoot about 600 rounds through a 10.5 and a 14.5 both suppressed and unsuppressed.
It really is just an ar15/m16 platform. Not even close to an MP5!

Ahh, the advantages of the Premium Membership. Those of us in the Secret Squirrel Club already know why this man is smiling. But as with Las Vegas, what is revealed in the SSC STAYS in the SSC. Sorry. But if you want to know right now why he is smiling, you have to get the Premium Membership. Its worth it let me tell you; worth every penny.
