No, the stock will not fit. The bottom picture you posted is a reverse stretch model. The reverse stretch model takes the same stock as a full sized MP-5. If you have a k model, you'll need something found here.

Hint: notice how the k model stocks have the extra pin-hole toward the top portion.

Couldn't I drill the hole for the pin? Or are there other functional differences in the buffer and length of the rails?

If you have a fullsized receiver with a K barrel, than that is called a Reverse Stretch. If you have a K sized receiver with no tabs than you need to have those tabs welded on. If you say F---- the tabs, you still couldn't add a A3 to a K receiver because the rails are too short and two rear locking pins would keep you from adding the A3 stock. It looks like you have an incomplete K special weapons rec where they did not weld the tabs or the upper locking pin bushings.

The lower hole is in a different location too as well as the trigger pack housing is different. A good amount of Frankensmithing to make it work.

Gotcha - pins in the way along with rails being to short for a K. Thanks!
