Hello - I'm awaiting delivery of an HK 91 and was wondering if I can replace the polymer stock and forearm with G3 wood furniture? If so, is this a "drop in" type modification or is it more involved?

You can switch out HK furniture in just a minute or two. Problem is finding wood furniture these days.

If you bought just the wooden stock without the backplate/recoil spring, there is a bit of toolery necessary to install it.

You'll need a large, long flat blade screwdriver for the rear buffer screw.

If it has the metal already, you might wish to swap out your factory finished metal rather that the usual Parkerized stuff.
