Would all that needed to be done is cut the tang of the back, and drill a new hole for rear pin. Any templets out there to do this?

+1.....once you chop that lower, it is pretty much going to be worthless. I do not see a big demand for a cut up lower housing.

The only reason was I have an extra trigger housing that id like to use instead of buying a new houseing

No big deal. Vollmer, other Class 2's, and even HK USA did it all the time.
