Because BSOE has one , and he's like 12 years old, and he's so cool, I just couldn't resist. Can you hear me now? I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night, he was looking for boys..................I had another firearm that I really liked, but the grip was a bit large for my hand, and there was no way to change that, so I made a trade. Mutually beneficial for both parties. Took to the HK like water. My most accurate shooting firearm for me...............

Well, still working on my first, and it won't be exclusively HK parts. AR and AK platform got too easy to build, so I picked up a CETME kit. There were so many HK features that I wanted, so I started buying HK parts for the build. It is to the point that it will only have a CETME bolt, carrier, locking piece, trunnion, and cocking tube. Everything else on the rifle is HK. It is going to be in the HK G3K configuration.

I was looking for a fun 9 striker range/nightstand gun to go with my edc Sig 238. Looked at ppq and Vp9 cuz of great reviews. Vp 9 just felt perfect and jumped into my hands at the shop like it was waiting for me. shoots like a dream.

My first was a Mark 23 back in 01. I bought it for the usual reasons but also because there to be just a few released to the public. I first learned about them a couple years before, but had never seen one. Then while perusing a little hole-in-the-wall tactical gun store called Impact Guns (Now Impactguns.com and much, much bigger) I found one sitting on its case on display. I bought it on the spot. It was 2000.00 back when that was outrageous for a handgun. I was embarrassed a little for having spent that when everyone else was spending 1/3 to 1/2 that amount for fine pistols. But, thinking one day it would really be a collector piece, I justified it in my mind. It was years before I saw another one. Then the idea of limited release went out the window and they became more common. D'oh!! This is why guns as an investment is riskier that coition with an IV drug user...

Anyway, investment blunder aside, it has been a wonderful gun to which I have since added the Insight LAM and OHG suppressor. As a kit it is just awesome to use and behold. The Mark 23 was the first of many HKs in my collection.

I purchased a 1976 P9S Combat 9mm in the mid 80's as my first semi. There was a certain cool factor about it and I just had to have it and still do.

I like hammer fired guns and own classic P series SIGs. Local gun store had a factory shoot where you could try out manufacturers guns and HK was there. I shot the P30L and HK45 and loved them both and bought both a short time later.

HK USPC 40 LEM FFDO model. Which was my first gun and first HK. It was a great carry gun, and it was the first one I could afford with money burning a hole in my pocket. Quickly followed by a USP 45 and HK45. The first gun opened the flood gates. I miss it, but 40 wasn't for me so much. I put about 5000 rounds through that little thing too.

Same, USP compact .40 was my first HK years ago. I was looking for a good concealed carry gun and a good caliber. I reasoned .40 cal was a good all around caliber to carry. I thought it was the last gun and HK I would ever buy at the time. Boy was I wrong, buy one HK and they tend to multiply. I've since just stuck with 9mm and 45 acp for target shooting and carry. Just shot my mark 23 again and it really brings a smile to my face.

P7M8 in 2004. First HK and first firearm ever, barely shot a pistol before that. Web research, wanted a heavy 9mm with consistent trigger pull on all shots. Starting to learn something on your own without credible guidance sometimes leads to unusual choices.

I have a Ruger 1911 commander and it was my first CCW. It was too heavy and big to CC in summer time so I got a S&W M&P Shield in 9mm. I wanted something I could carry all year round that held at least 10 rounds in the mag. I saw the P30sk in Conceal Carry Mag and started looking for one. The first place I went didn't have one but they had a Mark 23 which I felt and liked but wasn't what I was looking for. I went to a lot of places looking for a P30sk and felt a fair amount of HK's. When I did find one the trigger bothered my finger. After a lot of thought and feeling a lot of Hk's I settled on the USPC in 40.

My first was a VP9, used. I had never shot one, local guy had a used one he wanted to sell and it was a good price. Got it, shot it, hooked...now I have 4 and the collection is destined to keep growing. I would never say HK pistols are the end-all be-all of the firearms world...the "best" really means what you shoot the best...all I know is I've shot or owned just about every common make and model of pistol and I shoot and handle HK's better than any pistol I've ever shot...and it's not even close...

My fiancée had a p30L she had bought but never used. I felt bad for it so I ordered a holster and took it to a uspsa match. I had primarily been shooting sigs and cz's. That was a little over a year or so ago. I was relatively new to shooting so I looked into HK and was so impressed by the products and company and the old HK pro shooting team I became a huge fan. I am impatiently awaiting my 10th HK:)

Always been impressed with HK in general and their quality. Got back into shooting sports earlier this year after being away for a while and was looking for a CCW. Tried various handguns at the range and settled on a VP9 because it felt the best in my hands and shot well. Not a single regret after 6 months and about 2,000 rounds!

After a bad pistol experience (Beretta Cougar 40) I returned to revolvers for many years and was a happy classic Python owner. Years later I wanted to find a pistol that had the same level of quality as the Colt, and was more fun to use on the range. The VP9 literally jumped into my hands and has been there ever since. Sold my Python on GB for serious $$ and never looked back. Will wait for VP9SK for a year longer, and if that is not available will do the P30SK, or USP9C, as the next member of the stable.
