Z5K housing wiggle & German housing fitting

So the housing on my Z5K has some wiggle back and forth. Doesn't effect function but it bothered me. I contacted Zenith and they told me the same thing....But I am anal when it comes to that kind of thing so I bought a SEF German lower for my gun and got it the other day. Got it on and the thing I noticed was the German lower the front hole needed some filing to fit so I took a round file and file and fit till the pin went in but it was tight....So no wiggle and no obstructions so looks like the problem is fixed.

So I gotta ask did any of you have fitting issues with your Zenith?

My MKE lowers were tight but I did replace them with German lowers because I wanted the ambi extended levers and smaller grips. Some I was able to fit fine out of the box, others did require the front pin hole to be opened up slightly. I just ran a drill bit through it a few turns and then they were fine. I left them on the tight side figuring they will loosen up after a while.
I actually have the Z5RS (full size mp5) and mine has no wiggle that I could tell.

Was the filing due to the holes not aligning for the pin or was it because of the hole size itself not accepting the pin? If i read you correct, it was because the pin hole was not large enough.

The back hole aligned just fine ala a little tight. The housing would accept the pin on its own but going through the receiver it had issues so it was that the hole on the housing wasn't perfectly aligned....Just a hair of filing corrected the issue. The original Turkish housing I think they may have filed just a bit too much so while it didn't flop too badly it still moved back and forth a hair.

No Zenith products, but that is very nice!!!

I put german housings on both my Z43P and Z5P. Both "fit" right out of the box (with pins getting some help from a rubber hammer), but required a fair amount of filing to get back to toolless disassembly.
on my RS i had to file down the square hole in the front that the tab behind the mag well goes into to get it to fit without a lot of force, but i didn't touch the pin holes. this was on a german lower.
