Learn the manual of arms properly. Adapt. HK never made a left handed MP5 and lefties have been shooting them for decades.

I am southpaw with a POF sbr, I have no problems shooting it.

I'm a lefty..... having to tilt the weapon a little on its side to give her "the slap" or a pull is nothing more than a learning curve.

Would a left handed cocking set up be nice? Sure.
But is it worth the investment/cost to get it installed?
What about re-sale? (Not that I'll ever sell my baby)

Personally I find the dang ambi-selector switch for lefties to be for more troublesome to reach.

So the ambi isnt worth it for us southpaw folk? I dont have very many I run across here to try. Was on the fence for installing one.

I have an ambi-selector switch made by Flemming(?)

Clearly NOT and actual HK style and from what I can tell are no longer manufactured.




Here is a photo of it.
I cant seem to train my thumb to manage it very well.

You may have far better luck with an entire ambi trigger pack.

Is factory ambi any better for you?

Theres a lot more left handed HK shooters then I thought. I have to admit if I was building another i would opt for the lefty tube as well.
