So had the gun for about 1.5 years, just started the SBR form. Was cleaning today and noticed the buffer at the back of the ejection post wiggles a bit??? So, how does this get fixed? Not the end of the world but really??

Any other suggestions on getting the rivets tightened, I thought about the suggestion above but I can’t seem to get a position that’s not going mess up the finish. I would like to get this done before my stamp gets approved if it will involve sent to a gun smith to fix. I am going to put a A3 stock on this one so I am sure fitting it is gonna mess up the finish, perhaps this one will get a refinish with the stock so It perfectly matches.

I only need a 12-15ton press😂

I am gonna see if Ralph Jr. here in AZ can handle it, worse case I have to refinish it and if that’s the case I will withdraw the SBR stamp that has not been approved yet and remark it MP5 since it’s gonna be refinished, then do the Form1 again.

I think that’s cheaper than selling at a loss and purchasing another and hoping the same thing does not happen with it.

Glad the Stamps did not get approved yet.

Starting to lose my patience with good value clones😡

I don’t see what your issue with them
Is. 1/2 the price of an HK built unit and in most cases good enough for most gamers. I wouldn’t gauge a clone on a failed rivet though. That falls into “sh*t happens”. Now some of the AP5’s with blocks that won’t let the bolt carrier come out- that’s an issue.
I have 3, I just don’t have patience for the little issues anymore, I just want them to work. Now that being said, this one functions fine. No insult implied, most are issue free, I guess I want it all🤣 plus add in major OCD, 🤣

Well I gave it the college try, no dice, actually I think its worse🤣. So now gonna have a HK smith weld the rivets so we don’t have this issue, odds are that will require refinishing, oh well. It is what it is. Oh and the form 1 got approved this morning🤣🤣

I used aluminum barrel clamp as an anvil, taped everything up, put 20mil gas pipe tape over the heads of the rivets and rested the head of the rivet on the anvil. Had my buddy hold the receiver still, used a center punch and 16oz hammer. Tried a couple times, I got the rear rivet tighten a little but the forward would no tighten up and when I tried again on the front rivet the rear got loose again. Im out, it’s going to Ralph Jr, to weld them in place and refinish it.
