ATI MP5-F Collapsible, does it rub on rails?

I have a very in-spec LSC rolled receiver. Trying to find out if the ATI F-Stock is worth picking up or not. I've heard the holes need to be tweaked on some stock/gun combos, and I've also heard that sometimes the rails might rub the receiver.

I have a German A3 on another gun that absolutely does not rub ever.

Is the ATI part OK?

They rub on LSC and German/contract. Some more than others. They do not rub on SW since SW rail slots are a bit wider. Use some lube on the forks. Right side pushpin hole is off too, some more than others. Put on gun and run a drill bit through from left side to right to slightly oblong right side hole on the stock.

i got an ATI A3 f stock from hkparts.net. Loved it and it fit well with no wobble or play on my zenith RS. However, after about a month it won't stay locked closed anymore. ATI (american tactical imports and ATI gunstocks.... tried both) CS says they do not and never have made an MP5 stock so you won't get any support if it is faulty. On the other hand, I have found no other reports of similar issues with the ATI. Everyone seems to love it. I guess i'm just unlucky?

Yes. The inner mechanism does often times scratch the forks. How much you actually see depends on how durable the finish it. Every BRAND NEW German F-stock I have gotten over the last several years was painted with enamel or similar. Brake/carb cleaner took the paint right off.

Just received about a dozen stocks. All have MUCH less to nearly zero rub. Some still have stock pin (right side) alignment offset but overall much better than the last batch.

I bought one for a DJ Getz build. The right side hole was off pretty dramatically. I opened it up so it would work, but I replaced it with a non-F factory HK stock (which fits perfectly). I'd have a hard time buying another without being able to test fit, and I really don't like a bolt hold open F stock anyway.
