B&T folding stock and SB tactical brace

I have a SB tactical SBT5A folding brace. I was under the impression that the B&T folding stock was interchangeable with the adapter that came with my brace. Well I received the B&T stock and the hinge section is too large. According to my micrometer the B&T hinge is 33mm and the SB is about 32mm.
It might be able to be modified to fit but was not expecting this at all. Just wanted to give a heads up for anyone else considering converting their brace over to a folding stock. I thought I was going to save some money.

I have put APC and UMP stocks on the manticore and sbtac aluminum backplates.

Have I tapped it in with a gunsmithing hammer or rubber mallet? Yes.

Which aluminum backplate came with your brace?
so the aluminum ones do not fit the same? This is the first I’ve heard of this =\ Which adapter would fit this perfectly? Only the B&T?

My adapter says MANTICORE 040

Apologies for the late response. Thank you for responding and Happy Thanksgiving!

The aluminum ones work. Perfect is a high bar. If you don't need the aluminum for a 5.56 buffered carrier, then the b&t mp5 backplate is best, but now you're buying something else.

Though your sbt brace has value
