With my rigid belt and the hook on the inside of the clip, im not having canting issues. Also, this clip location on the holster is more on a curved plane which allows it to conform better around me and not stick out. Also when I tried 2 clips next to each other (for me) my belt loop gets in the way and the holster sits too far to the right and ends up digging into my inner thigh/pelvic cradle area and is extremely uncomfortable and ended up causing broken capillaries in that area of my body.
It's great to have these options, such as the 3 clip locations with the Velo 5. Belt Loop locations can definitely mess up a nice holster, when there's no options. I have a Velo5, as well, from Tenicor.
I also have the ANR hk-branded aiwb from the webstore, but I order the DCC steel clip from ANR.
I hve a nice leather-lined kydex holster for the p2000sk from Garrett Holsters. But, the holster-to-clip relationship put the pistol so far down below the belt line that draw was extremely difficult, as the clip is right over the trigger guard, and my middle finger knuckle would get jammed by the clip.
They tried to work with me adjusting the holstered pistol higher in relation to the top of the belt, but then the whole rig tends to roll away from the body, risking printing and flopping out, over the belt. There was no wedge or claw, with that holster. It would also rock around with only one narrow clip.
My answer was to carry the p2000sk in a P2000 holster.
ANR addressed this shortcoming of the shorter length slide pistols by extending the holster body 3/4 inch past the CC9 muzzle.
Between the Tenicor Velo5 and the ANR holster, I'm not sure which one will get primary use, yet.
I had a couple of DeSantis holsters that only had one narrow clip, and no claw or wedge (for a P365) and they would not remain in one place, that's why I asked about the single clip on your Velo5.
Sounds like you got it customized to work well.
