Who knows? That spot may have helped sell a few HK91's back in 1983, although lack of a fold-down optical sight may have disappointed a few buyers.

 

I got the impression that the weapons master/armorer wanted to incorporate some Galil features...

If you had to pick just one weapon to show that could exceed any discerning tastes, the G3 was a great choice... You would just need to offer a gold-plated one to close the deal. What two-bit dictator could turn that down?

 

The next gun show where a dealer has a 91 with a bipod, drop it on the floor and hop on top of it. Slick move, I wonder how long he practiced that?

I have been watching a lot of old Chevy movies with my kids lately, I completely forgot about this one. I loved that scene when I first saw it. Makes me want to buy a 91!
