"Titan is selling uppers and only uppers, at this time, if you want an upper go to them and buy one. We have NOT and will not sell uppers in any way" TB

So Titan will sell the uppers alone and TB will only sell complete rifles.

"Titan Defense has other customers for their upper then us and these customers will also build guns on this upper "

I wonder who else will be carrying the upppers.

Anybody got a point of contact for Titan defense i wana get me one of these uppers. As fort the DIAS if it has a full auto carrier i dont see why it wouldnt work one.

Is it just me or all this is just window dressing? (TD 556/CA 556) All great components but the heart of the Hk 416 is the german barrel...:330:

maybe if we were talking about precision shooters, but these are MBRs the main thing we're looking for is consistency, reliability and low maintenance. If they can deliver that, then I'm on board!

This is more than cosmetic right? This is copying the HK 416 gas system. I would assume HK has a patent on it?

So if TB can copy it, why aren't other AR makers copying it, you have all of them coming up with different ways to do piston stroked AR, while everyone still believes HK implementation is one of the best. So again, why haven't others copied the HK system before?

G36,

Kind of premature to ask those questions. It will be different once a copy is out in the hands of the public. One big thing I noticed was the gas block is substantially different than most that I have seen.

Time will tell, but I like the idea of better delivery of the Stoner design.

Ok, we won't really know until we see it I guess. The whole thing about HK416 is not the barrel or the furniture, it's about the piston gas system. Unless CA415 copies the HK gas system, it's not a HK416/MR556 clone at all. It's just another pistol driven AR15 that's trying to get into the market. That's really nothing special with everyone and their uncle coming out with piston AR or retrofit piston kits. In this case, the CA415 is probably just as close to Ruger SR556 as it is to MR556.

Not that I'm saying HK 416 solution is the best thing. In fact, more the merrier in terms of AR mfg competitions. I would get the one that's the best solution. Things are really heating up in the AR world.

No kidding, there are so many AR designs piston and not out there right now it's pretty amazing! I've been wanting a 416 upper since '03 when they were about 2500 and gray. I hope this drives the real hk upper prices down a bit so I can buy one. :D I'd buy a titan upper to..:480:

Like all TB products, I wouldn't touch this with a 10-foot pole. Seems like another "rushed to the market, no beta-testing, no customer support" product :(

His company had nothing to do with this build. It was out sourced by a reputiable company. We will see.............................I give TB props on this one I think it will sell very well. Even Coharie Arms productions here lately have been great guns from my experiances that I have purchased..................

Coharie arms is making a CA15 rilfe Period, the lower receiver is made from a forging the forging is from the same location that the TD upper is made and the same location that COLT and FN get their forgings and yes Lewis Aerospace is machining our lower using the same tolerance and skill that they make the TD upper with and yes it is down under a marking variance!!!

Lewis is also machining the other parts we need for out lower, Yes Lewis aerospace does and has made parts for SW for YEARS. Many of the improvements to the CA 9mm guns is based on us switching to Lewis and away from the JUNK dealers RCM, they do not make all our parts but they are getting more and more every day....

Lewis is the only machine shop that can do EVERY single part for an AR gas system in house minus molded parts and castings and forgings so, Unlike other AR guys waiting on the big brown truck to come pull up to get them gun parts MY truck is small and white and says Lewis Aerospace on the side and yes they make 90% of the parts for the TD upper and they make 90% of the parts for the CA lower and once you see these parts and the quality you willl understand while most are guys use JUNK parts!!!

Titan Defense is making Uppers and yes we are buying then upper from them to use on our gun

Titan Defense has other customers for their upper then us and these customers will also build guns on this upper

Titan is selling uppers and only uppers, at this time, if you want an upper go to them and buy one. We have NOT and will not sell uppers in any way

Yes we are the first ones in on the Titan band wagon and for good reason

There's no product coming up with this link, Colt!
