Has anybody heard anything about Crimson Trace making an HK45/HK45C model?

Currently CT grips aren't made for any HK pistol.
Maybe the HK45, HK45C, and P30's changeable back straps might change that.

I will certainly want a set eventually for my HK45.

Why bother with the backstrap design when you could just use the Picatinny rails? I'd imagine it isn't an issue of holster fit - the thing on the back of the gun would interfere just as much (if not more) than something under the barrel.

Crimson Trace is fairly inventive when it comes to product design (the XD system and the Glock are both pretty clever and the M&P system is kind of an obvious one). Couple things to remember about CT they develop for platforms with large market share, if the demand is high enough and they can engineer it then it has a chance (though I doubt the USP will ever see one of their products the HK45/P30/P2000 series may).

...I plan on getting a set for my S&W 642...
Get them! I know they are expensive, but I can actually shoot my 642 now to some degree of accuracy. I was terrible with this little guns irons, now I'm emptying the entire cylinder of .38spl 125gr. +P as fast as the heavy DAO trigger can be operated while hitting COM at 7 yards. :89:

I just filled one out for the P7M8. I don't see why they couldn't get that one done, with enough demand.

I dunno. I would LOVE to have a set or two for my P7M8, but in looking at how my hand fits on the current grip, just below the slide, there's hardly any room for the laser, without overlapping the slide.

I also requested this model be developed, though. I think the market would be as good as some of the other models they have developed...
