My SP5 was made in Jan. 2021 and I bought it in the first week of March. Thats pretty fast shipping to the US. It has the "CB" Date stamp.

That's not the date code. That's an abbreviation for deutschland because it's made in germany.

Need help, i have an IK date code G36 magazine and some that have an NP date code. The IK one has a purplish tint when you hold it into the light.

"J" is used for parts (= "K") after 1976 (though some parts--- like furniture--- could be dated "6/1/76", "8/1/78" etc.)!!! :biggrin:

H&K uses the Ulm proof house -- I=8.

The date codes are based on the proof house that is used. (I believe)
