Dates of Manufacture by Serial Number

All,
I'm trying to determine the dates of manufacture on a moderately sized lot of HK53A2, HKMP5/40, G36, and G36k firearms. All I have are serial numbers right now, but I can ask about date codes and other markings. Is there a quick reference for this?

The 53s start with 76-
The MP5/40s start with 69-
The G36Es start with 83-
The G36KE1s start with 84-

I know those can't be date prefixes....but I couldn't find a reference with search. Can anyone help out?

The two digit prefxes have nothing to do with dates of manufacture. They determine the model type. All HK weapons have such a prefix since the late 1990's early 2000's. You'll need to know the 2 letter manufacturing code on the weapons to determine the date they were produced.
