Do You Put Flat Mag Floor Plates On Your P2000?

I was wondering if they feel better than the ones that come with the P2000 with the pinky extension? Does the gun conceal better with the flat ones?

For concealed carry I do use the flat. At the range I mix and match. It has been easier for me to find mags with the pinky extension. As noted above I have been able to find places selling just the floor plate. Sucks to buy an expensive magazine then spend more for a different piece of plastic.

Me being the tight wad that I am. I used a razor blade and a dremel to modify the extended lip floor plate into a flat floor plate.
I do like the extended grip , but wanted at least one flat plate. I have a few p2000sk flat plates I want to modify next. Will look cleaner. And I don’t have the sk any more... so it’s free.

I just picked up the p2000.
I already had the uspc.

There's a gap using the SK mag bases with the P2000. You're better off splurging on the USPc bases unless you prefer a gap. Maybe you can buy the stock P2K mag bases for cheap from guys who will never use them again that bought USPc plates?

I bought four for my six P2K mags. I personally like the regular ones for the hook they provide when drawng and I have large hands. Still, if you're going for the smallest footprint possible for maximum concealment they're what you want.

I put the flat plates on my p2000’s and HK45C. I do keep the normal rubber pinky extended bases on my p2000sk’s. They are still easy to conceal and help me get a good grip on the shorter grip. I do keep one mag standard for back-up range use for the 45C and p2000.
