That usually throws up a lot of red flags these days except for flower and candy deliveries.

So what’s odd is that now that I’ve sold my house my shipping and billing address is now the same. The only place it is different is on my DL that was issued last year. Hence the state issued update card. Also between my bank and the card issuers fraud dept I normally get a text / phone call anytime there is a suspicious charge. That never happened for this purchase. Not sure what was going on but as aggravating as it is they did finally confirm the order and I have a tracking number. So that’s a win, can’t wait for the pig sticker to get here.

What a cluster f*ck… glad it’s finally making its way.👍🏻

I don't have photos yet, but mine being the $109 example does't look quite as nice. A lot of surface rust and some pitting one both sides of the blade. One side is worse than the other.

1.5mm of the tip was bent as though someone dropped it on concrete. I straightened it, and then used a fine checkering file to smooth it out. The edges were pitted too, but not badly. The checkering file took care of both edges too.

Lots of pitting on the mounting ring, topside. I can only imagine what the rifle must have looked like.

It cleaned up fair after a wire brush and some Red & Tacky gun oil. I'm going to go over it again. The mechanism works well and mounts up tight and releases fine.

No maker's mark, proofs, or date code on my example. I'd have paid $80-$90 for something in this condition, but I know they're drying up, so $109 wasn't outrageous.

I'll get a few photos up on Friday.

Mine is also the $109 I must have got lucky. I don't see any stamping on mine either.

Mine has some dings, but overall I think I just got lucky.

Ordered two (on the right), missed the drop on the 13 grooves/recessed handles. The older straight handled one (bottom right) was in decent condition. The curved belly one (upper right) had a chipped tip, loose handle, and the ring/guard is bent (which I wonder how, seeing as the ring isn't weight-bearing and a thrust would transmit force to the lug in the handle base)

I got mine Wednesday took to work and cleaned up.
13 grove came out nice.
Bay0025
Date code 2ie bayonet and scabbard 4id
I took the recessed handle one apart to clean and its marked. Sweden
That was product code bay0021
The other one bay0019 no markings.

Photos of mine. Nikon Zfc ISO 200 1000@f10

Extensive pitting can be seen with a lot of freckling too. Also, pitting along the edges of the blade and mounting ring. There is a 2mm gap between the handle and the hilt. I guess this my be due to the plastic grip shinking over time. The sheath is in very nice condition with no scratches, dings, or gouges. May not be original to this particular bayonet.

Still, it's functional and serviceable.

Received mine, after initial cleanup not too bad.
The blade is in very good shape with a lot of parkerization still showing and a very sharp edge. The ring is in excellent shape.
The plastic handle has shrunk a bit, some gapping at the hilt, and at the mechanism end… locking mechanism is in great shape nice and tight full of Cosmolene LOL.
The sheath is nice condition, but some rust on the metal between the sheath and the webbing. The webbing and stitching is in very good shape as well.
Snap works well too.
….may have been a bit expensive, but I am happy with this piece of history.
