I just acquired this from an older gentleman who pulled it out of his safe. It still had the tag on it where he purchased it new he said. Any information on it would be greatly appreciated as I have searched with little luck. I know these have been counterfeited before and although I trust the man I got it from i know very little about these. I’m not in it a whole lot but still would be nice to know a value on it. Thanks in advance.

Looks real to me, date code KD=1993, the typical out of place looking TC stamp, etc-The lighting in your pictures is hard to tell, but this should be NATO black, not the blue-grey. - It looks like it has been fired, notice the carbon on the bolt- although I would dare say not much at all. The TC is one down from the famed PSG1- This rifle is very pricey- the last time I saw one it was going for around 7k, but, I really don't know anymore- it's been a while since I priced them, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, it looks very nice,-and congratulations.

That is an amazing find. I recently missed out on a standard model. I would love to have one of these some day. I have come to learn that "not much" means different things to different people here. The above comment of around $7k seems accurate from my research. What do you have in it if you don't mind? I love hearing when people find amazing deals. She's a beauty, but you should definitely shoot it.

I have been trying to determine the difference in current value between the SR9T and the SR9TC. I see you can buy a new PSG1 stock for $1,479.95 and a new MSG90 stock for $1,299.95. Since the only difference between a SR9T and a SR9TC is the MSG90 stock, would the difference in value be $180.00?

I have a H&K retail price sheet dated January 18, 1993. The SR9T retailed for $1,799.00 and the SR9TC retailed for $1946.00. That’s a difference of $147.00. I can’t find any recent sales for SR9T’s, but I did find one for the SR9TC.

Yes that is correct way less factory TC, there is a member here that tracks HK info he could tell you if serial lines up. I bought a factory T from member here few months ago and love it. Although I haven't shot it and don't know if I ever will. LOL

You are 100% correct. My SR9 shoots like a dream. Whenever I think about getting the barrel threaded I have to slap myself though.
