Took some pictures of my 23E beltfed MG to post to my social media account and figured I’d share some of them here. This is a registered receiver G3 that was mated with an HK21E parts kit by TSC. I have the 21E kit, the 23E kit (except the barrel, which is a BPP barrel), and the 11E kit and its shoots flawlessly in all three configurations. This was my first machinegun and started me down my path of collecting HK’s.

A few years ago I called Ralph Sr to ask about having this gun chopped into a 21EK. I had seen pictures online of a RR “HK21E PDW” that he had built and wanted the same. He very politely refused to cut into an original German shroud and offered to build me an EK using a BPP shroud and one of several parts kits he was sitting on back then. At the time I was in an “all German or nothing” mindset and declined his offer. Looking back I’m glad never went through with that conversion - I like my E gun as is.

Here’s the 21E PDW pic that whet my appetite back then:

I wonder too. I bet most of them were done by TSC, I’ve seen several of his K builds. Not sure if MM uses his own shrouds or if he’ll cut down an OG one.

I had an early Hk21A whose recoil was like a dull chain saw laying into Hickory.
I would like to have another in 21E config or 23E.
Does anyone make beltfeds out of Hk93’s?? I have one I never shoot and a registered sear in a MP5K.
Be nice to have another beltfed, but what OP shows is the cat daddy setup- Congratulation Sir.

That would be an interesting project, I’ve never heard of a 93 receiver being used to build a beltfed. My suspicion is that it wouldn’t be feasible, but I’m not a builder so idk 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nice! Did you build that yourself?
