I shoot a lot of hogs doing hog control for farms. I have a SEF DLO trigger pack. I want a short magazine fed 556 that I can fire off a specific tripod and I want the front end to be rock solid for mounting to the tripod and holding zero with something like a MAWL.
This may be a very stupid question, but can the solid shroud of the 21 or 21e series guns be welded to an existing HK33k frame allowing for use of the original barrel/trunion while giving a very solid front end for mounting on a tripod?
If so, Which of the should lengths would work best with the 12" barrel of the 33k, 21, 21e, or 21ek?
Who would be the best to send this to for the work? I would like picatinny rails welded on top of the gun as well as on the bottom of the shroud for the ability to mount it to a RRS tripod as well as a AA tripod.
