That would be great news for the community, but would only interest me if the upper were compatible with a factory Colt M16 receiver. So I'm feeling pretty confident that the MR556A4 is the #2 of the 3 new guns.
I could see a HK USP 10mm that has an updated optics ready slide w/ front & rear serrations, a dust cover w/ standard 1913 picatinny rail, selectable side & rear grip panels for improved ergos, and at least a 13 to 15 (+1) capacity selling like crazy here in the U.S. (and maybe elsewhere).I’m not guna lie, I really like my FN 510T. But ANY HK handgun in 10mm drops and it’s getting replaced lmao.
Thanks for the update @HK CS1! This is outstanding! Really liking HK's transparency with these announcements and info. Exciting times ahead for us HK fans here in the USA!
I guess if you just glance at the picture I could see why you might think that. The flush magazine not inserted says "10+1" on the bottom sticker. Someone who has actually shot the pistol posted on the Facebook group stated that the finger rest mag is 12+1. (Grain of salt and all) Seems like a 1.5 stack based off that. But again, we really don't know the specs other than the picture.@RetropM Am I missing something? If I understood earlier comments correctly, the CC9 is a single stack. Hopefully that’s a misunderstanding on my part.
I’m only judging it due to an earlier post that led me to believe it was a single stack. Again, hopefully that’s a misunderstanding on my part. If it’s a 10+1 with similar dimensions to the P365, then I think that’s what the US market wants.I guess if you just glance at the picture I could see why you might think that. I too was excited about the SFP9cc, but that is A) not yet in production and B) has never been announced as coming to the US. By all accounts, even Germany won't see the SFP9cc until next year. This new CC9 was the patent drawing we all saw in 2021 and was specifically designed by HK to complete in the US CCW market.
My whole thing is this: How is everyone judging this pistol so harshly based off ONE picture without knowing any specs or ever picking it up?
2. MR556A4. (MR223A3/416A5 but with that new QD mlok rail which will coincide with the discontinuing of the current MR556 A1-A3 profile lineup)
I believe that an updated the MR556. I spoke with their LE sales division a couple months back for some replacement parts, and was told that HK had a new series of rifles that would be available to our agency to purchase "this fall," I've heard it will be a MR556 with updated features to make it more streamlined, but IMHO nothing earth shattering.Had conversation with my regional HK sales/CS/warranty rep last week in regards to the HK-USA newsletter and the 3 release teases. His response was that the 3 guns, in order, were to be-
1. An American SFP9CC (seems this came true with the CC9)
2. MR556A4. (MR223A3/416A5 but with that new QD mlok rail which will coincide with the discontinuing of the current MR556 A1-A3 profile lineup)
3. An undisclosed rifle. (Guessing an MR762 variant)
I had guessed the SP7 for #3 initially and he replied that an SP7 was in planning but was likely 2026. I took everything with a grain of salt but now HK releases that new bulletin saying an MP7 and G36 are in the works for post 2025 and the CC9 image. So I'm feeling pretty confident that the MR556A4 is the #2 of the 3 new guns.
The MR223A3 and 416A5 are fully ambidextrous.Hopefully ambi lower too. It's 2024 and there's no excuse.
I hope the part about the mlok rail is true. They look very good.Had conversation with my regional HK sales/CS/warranty rep last week in regards to the HK-USA newsletter and the 3 release teases. His response was that the 3 guns, in order, were to be-

SFP9CC isn’t coming. CC9 is though. Totally different gun.SFP9CC is something I thought was going to come out last winter, but good to hear at least.
I can say there's a few of those rails coming into the country - they very well could be part of the new line up. I have one for the 762 and overall it's pretty sweetI hope the part about the mlok rail is true. They look very good.

True...but where can I buy one that's an official import and also not a stupid price on GB?The MR223A3 and 416A5 are fully ambidextrous.
