Is anyone using a Trijicon RMR on their MP5K-PDW?

Hi Guys,

I have a low profile MFI mount on order so I can mount my Eotech 552 on my MP5 (Dakota Tactical D54P-N). I suppose I can use it on my MP5K-PDW (MKE 94K conversion) as well but I wanted something smaller. I really like the Eotechs a lot better than Aimpoints so I am thinking of getting another MFI mount and the smaller Eotech XPS3 for the MP5K-PDW. However, a friend suggested I look into the Trijicon RMR reflex sight.

Anyway, do any of you use a Trijicon RMR on your MP5/MP5K-PDW? How do you like it compared to the Eotechs or Aimpoints? Finally, which mount did you use? I noticed that Brugger & Thomet makes Trijicon mounts for the ACOG and the old RX-series reflex sights -- would either of these work for the RMR?

Thanks!

They look very nice and I love the size and design. I too would be interested to hear comments.
What I don't like is the damn great f...ing dot. I suppose it's okay for really, really close shooting, but, man, 3.5 (or 4 ?) moa or 6 moa. That's one big dot. At 50 metres competing with myself, with even the smaller of the two available reticule sizes, I wouldn't be happy.
For my money, the Eotech does the job very nicely.
Just my ten bucks worth......
