I've had my Mp5SD since 1990 and it's time for paint. Who would you send both NFA items to?

Jeff Walters does my work.

I had one job done by RDTS and was not happy. I had to buy new parts to replace the ones they painted.

Sent them a complete rifle to re finish. Instead of stripping all the parts off and painting the rifle.

They just painted the whole thing. Muzzle break and diopter sight included. Over spray all over the inside of the receiver.

Jeff's came back without any issue of workmanship.

I cannot speak very well on who you SHOULD send it to, but I CAN speak from personal experience on who NOT to send it to.

Don't make the mistake I did and send it to Brethern Arms. I would not ever recommend anything go to Brethern Arms.

I sent a C93 to them for a refinish and they were just terrible to deal with. Customer service was crap, crappy job, no attention to detail.

It was a straight forward job - refinish the rifle in a particular black color they offered, and remove the original flash hider and replace with a suppressor mount I provided and included. I sent it all off. I got the gun back and it was the wrong color, the suppressor mount was not added, and they didn't even bother to send it back. I then had to go around with them, then send the rifle back, then they took their sweet time getting the mistake corrected and the job done right. I felt that they were quite flippant in their responses to the problems THEY created. I gave them a chance because they were kind of a start up, the new kid on the block, and their price was better than anyone else's it appeared. And they utterly blew it. I will never do business with them again and will never even look at their website again. I understand mistakes happen and I am a patient guy, but they had me at the stops.

I should have gone with Jeff at PCS or Jason at IGF. Good luck with it!

Yep, Mike does do great work. You may also want to contact Curtis Higgins @ S&H Arms in Oklahoma. He also does very nice work.

Mike Otte did the re-finishing on my HK94 and it's bullet proof - color and sheen is spot on too. TSC did my SP89, although it color and sheen were prefect, the coating didn't hold up over the yeras and I had paint actually flaking off of on some areas.

Josh: I first thought this was your post. Anyway, I hope you are doing well.
That being said, we can do that for you!! We are a certified Cerakote shop and my guy Orion does some very nice work.
Check the Cerakote website for some examples of his work.
Thanks: Phil Flack

Phil, man I don’t know why I didn’t think of you. Sorry! Phil did my refinish, Terry did my barrel work on the MP5-N. I highly recommend Phil. He has done my MP5 K-N and MP5-N. Both are flawless.
