For sake of comparison:

MR223A3 with the German QD version (note missing screw below the huge HK logo) of the "HK USA" QD cup handguard, V7 grip (after getting rid of the ABG that was on there before), Geissele ambi SCH, B&T Rotex IIA flash hider with Rotex IIA blast deflector or Rotex IIA Mini suppressor, factory double-staked QD endplate. Aiming for the 45° selector shown up there next.

And yes @HKPRO , I took off the "as close as Oberndorf does" slimline stock and replaced it with a Magpul CTR commercial stock... 😋

Did I mention it has a chrome lined barrel? :leaving:

Are the SKUs listed anywhere?
In the brochure I linked in my previous post, as well as on the individual product pages.

damn.. going to have to find select-fire safety axles😡
I apologize for stirring the pot about chrome lining.
Equating select fire capabilities from a semi auto platform is what was being complained about is very disappointing. Many semi auto US firearms have the features that were discussed.
To thank the discussion was about unlawful activities on anything is disheartening.

MSRP for the 762 is 4799 and they have CA compliant models listed as well.
Smart configs. Glad they actually offered the A4 in an 11” pistol variant instead of making it SBR only like it was rumored around here.

Wait, so does even the 11" have a heavy profile barrel? If so, I'm not sure how I feel about it. Prefer as light a setup as reasonably possible, especially when I'll be adding a light, optic, and suppressor.
According to the product pages on HK-USA, the 16.5" MR556A4 weighs less than the MR556A1, so I think it's using a similar profile barrel to the most recent MR556A1s.

Product page and user manual are online now at MR556 A4 - Heckler & Koch

Never mind all the actual rifles used in actual service across the planet that don't have one...

Also, "service grade" is often used as a pejorative, at least in my experience.

What SERVICE rifle has a respectable military adopted in the last 20 years without a chrome bore?

Sure, can name a few that were surprisingly recent, Serbs with their M64/M70 series, RK62, SG 550, HK roller guns...all mistakes in my mind too even if they're quality rifles. And all 20th century designs.

Whatever you want to call it, a service rifle/assault rifle/general purpose rifle has a chrome bore full-stop. No excuses. Certainly not for over $3500.

Not to mention that, obviously, anyone buying the A4 want's the 416 heritage and design: and HK 416s have chrome lined bores.

Are you seriously going to argue that no military or law enforcement agency in the world uses any rifles that do not have a chrome lined barrel?

Also, I'm pretty sure this horse has been beaten to death multiple times by now, to the point that the moderators have asked everyone to move on from the subject.
