Need help choosing an MP5 A3 Stock: Original, New Production, or MKE

I'm looking for some advice on some of the A3 stock options, namely:

1) Original production A3 stocks
2) New production A3 stocks (not A3F). (These can be easily differentiated from the original stocks as part of the endcap is polymer.)
3) The MKE A3 stock.

The main issue that I've seen reported from people who purchased the MKE is the rails getting scratched from opening and closing the stock. However, I've seen a lot of HK A3/A3F stocks that have scratched up rails, so it's not clear to me if this a problem that's worse (or a lot worse) with MKE vs HK.

I've also seen a few similar comments from people about the new production A3 stocks vs original.

Curious to get thoughts from people who have had a chance to compare at least two of these together. Thanks.

Some helpful reference threads on the MKE:

For what it’s worth the SP5 SBR I bought second hand has a MkE a3 stock on it and it fits perfectly , goes on easy and comes off without too much trouble. The rails slide easily and hasn’t scratched the gun at all. It does seem MKE QC does let some bad ones out but I’m super happy with mine. EDIT: you can see the paint on it does scratch off on the rails of the stock so whatever finish they used is not as good as HK

Thanks for all the replies, I forgot to come back to this thread.

Stock is going on a nice SP5 to SD conversion. Obviously going German is ideal, but I'm not opposed to an alternative if it's nearly identical and saves $600. However, I don't really want a stock that scratches itself up, and it does seem like that's a problem with the MKE. Can anyone confirm if the newer (polymer endcap) A3 stocks have any issues with this?

On a SD build, it would be an absolute no-brainer for me. Just look at it as an essential part and cost of the gun. For me, and just my opinion, I’d look for an older A3 that’s in NOS to excellent condition and just embrace the suck of the cost. It will be much more valuable down the road if you decide to sell it or leave it in your family trust.

I may have an extra, but it would be in storage in GA. I’m in SC so we’re not down there that often.
