They say the have a MP5 FRT in production.
There are many sold by DTT in circulation that have the select fire switch. They seem to be very reliable. Has he tried it in a quality AR with an H2 or H3 Buffer?
There are so many variables to getting FRTs to work in gas guns, it's crazy. Suppressed, unsuppressed, barrel length, gas port size, buffer tube size, type of spring, weight of buffer, caliber, etc...Don't know what ar brand it is but it was .300 blk. Not sure if that would make any difference in reliability.

I'll say that I've got 5.56 and 300BO running just fine.
5.56 is 11.5", 5.1oz buffer, red SpringCo spring.
300BO is 10.5", 2.9oz buffer, OEM spring.
EDIT -- and RBT can sit on a thorny branch and spin. 🖕
No doubt, future anti-gun administrations will likely try and outlaw Force Reset Triggers (FRTs).This is like the Poly 80 80% glock clone receivers.
As long as you bought it using a credit card, there's a record of your purchase.
As long as you had it shipped to your house, UPS, FEDEX, DHL or USPS have and retain shipping records.
Sure, they are tacticool an' all and kinda neet, but I figure that if we don't retain the White House in 2028, expect the Dems to outlaw them within the first 100 days of the new regime. AND... they will be knocking on doors.
Buy a boat... at least you'll have a reasonable excuse.

Yes. H3 buffer. It runs a little slower than my registered receiver Colt M16.There are many sold by DTT in circulation that have the select fire switch. They seem to be very reliable. Has he tried it in a quality AR with an H2 or H3 Buffer?
