I’ve had lots of poor quality parts come from HKParts.net, to the point that I no longer consider them to be an option.
I have 10 Solum Tool base plates. 5 are +0 rounds (more like a weight than round extender) and 5 that are +5 rounds.
I like them. Great quality and reliable.

Solum Tool extensions are GTG. Great fit with my MK23

 

Solum Tool all the way. I have their +2 for my P2000/USP Compact, great product. I also like Taylor Freelances extentions and have 5 of their Border Patrol ones for my VP9/P30, I dont believe they have one for the USP though.

i just ordered some Solum baseplates to try for my Mark 23. Thank you for answering some questions I had on mag extension options.

 

The HKparts +5 magazine extensions for the MARK 23 magazines do not consistently lock back for me for the two I own. Good for range mags and pictures at best but they're way to expensive for that. They originally came with a set of extended springs that later they revised... both don't work.

 

Solum Tool +3 is the way to go! The HKparts ones don’t come with extra power springs. Stephan Solum is a great guy! Send him an email with your number and he will call you and answer any questions you might have. His springs are specially designed for function! I have x4 of his +3’s and they are solid! My first order I got 1 and tested it to 500 rounds no issues and ordered 3 more. He said his springs are good for 7K-10k rounds estimated

also it should be noted that a Mark 23 mag with his extensions fill the gap when you use them in a USP45. Amazing!

Wow that's really nice if you wanted to just buy mags for the Mk 23 and you have a USP45 too!

 

I have 20+ SOLUM TOOLS +3 HK USP 45 mag extensions that I have been running for 2 years as carry spares and range mags.

NO ISSUES, GOOD TO DEAL WITH.
