Some Swedish weapons.

Some Swedish weapons.
The G3 rifles are Trail guns from 1960 to 1964.
Serial number and text written on the rifles are written under the pictures if stated.
Fm stands for "Försöksmodell" Trail model or experimental model.

Hi Tony. 891623 has a "-3" stamped behind the serial number. This supplement was put on test weapons that were taken out of production. The skull and cross bones stamped on the magazine well behind the serial number means the weapon has been discarded. Maybe this is why it has a later production date?

Most excellent--- thanks again!!!
Questions:

1. 891553- is it also marked with the “skull/crossbones- 3”?
2. 895042- is it also marked with the “skull/crossbones”, and what is the significance of the "- 2"?

Hi Tony. I cant se skull and cross bones Stamped on any of them. In the book "AG3 faithful servant in the Armed Forces through fifty years" an AG3 serial number 142975-4 is described, it says "Based on the additional marking -4, one can assume that this rifle is one of a small series of test weapons."
This is the only explanation I have found for this additional digit after the serial number.
