Hello,

I have an older Surefire lighted foregrip for my MP5 Ghilliebear built me many moons ago and was wondering if there's a screw in replacement LED for the old incandescent or whatever the hell unit.

I know they have new ones but I like my OG unit and if I can make it work that's half the fun right.

Thanks!

Lumensfactory is your friend. Have picked up over a dozen bulbs from them for stuff ranging from peq14 and 16 lights, utl usp light, insight pistol lights, to surefire 660 and 628 heads. All have held up great, and they know their ****, with detailed info on what bulbs and stuff of theirs works with which types of lights. They ship from HK but it is pretty damn fast, usually within a week.

For my mp5s, I picked up some led replacements that are very warm in color temp to keep the feel of the old incandescent bulbs.

Agree with the lumensfactory recommendation. I have their LED upgrade on one of my Surefire 628’s and it is a world of difference.

Malkoff device makes some great replacement LED heads that works with suppressors. US based manufacturer, great to work with.

I upgraded my two cell surefire with a Malkoff about 15 years ago. It is on a M1 Super 90. It was easy, a huge improvement. FYI. I don't know what sort of support you get from Lumen Factory, but if you get jammed up, the owner of Malkoff lights, Mr. Malkoff, will address your problem.
