Holy Sh1t.

Its that good, jesus.

I held my face 6" from the ports of the gun it was on, without hearing protection.,

BUT

cat mob will be here shortly.

the golden age is now!

I would think a 9mm through a vent 3 5.56 can would make a racket ;-)

This one?

Yep, I had both put.

They are amazing.

I'd be interested to "hear" how this sounds compared to an SD. I used to shoot my MP5 with an 3-lug Octane. But being left handed that port is next to my face and my old Octane spits too much in my face.

My SD can is in NFA jail so I'm still waiting to see if an SD gun fits my needs better.
You only hear the hammer.

It's better than a SD, port noise on a SD is why louder.

BTW get a rugged piston, it doesn't have the groves, stops the spitting

, a 9mm cmmg is more quite than a mp5, ( less noise action)

Mean arms is also stupid quiet.

My only concerns about the Vent 2 are its unusual ROF limitations (120 rounds full auto, then 10 minute cool down) and of course the longevity/cleaning concerns between its specific PIP design and the relatively new additive production techniques used to make it.

But the suppression is absolutely next level!

I'm very curious to see more comparisons between the Vent 2 and the Cat Mob. The Pew Science articles are spectacular.
Same problem - I shoot lefty and get blasted by unburnt powder. I have a measly Form 1 can I built (ECCO Machine did a nice recore though). CAT MOB seems promising.
sd cans have a lot of port pressure, imo.
1 they have more powder than subs and there is not enough volume in a sd barrel as the same as the blast chamber as a 9mm can.

I put my face near the port because I wanted to see how good it was. Its good, like lefty approved good.
