First of all, has anyone use a foregrip on a full size MP5, do you like it. Is there anyway you can get a K grip to work ? Also do you have any pictures to share ?

Foregrip

Hello Friend,

As far as the MP5 goes I love the foregrip on mine, it gives you more control over a gun which is already very controlable. Once you have used the MP5 with a foregrip I doubt if you would like it any other way. As for the options there are several. For example you can use the rail forend and that will give you the option of installing several accessories with it. And about the fore grip there are also several options, e.g sure fire 900 series light is a very good option, but some of the foregrip options can be quiet expensive. For myself I installed the GG&G rail (I think you call it UFIR). and with it I installed a CAA short vertical grip SVG. For me it looks quiet good and the performance is excellent. I have used it in the field for about five times now and it performs flawlessly. This solution is not that expensive also. I'll try to post pics of it in a few hours. So I have used this setup and am very confident in suggesting this option. I am sure senior members will also have some good ideas to your question.

Sure you can. The standard "K" grip would be combined with a grip extension made by (I think) E&L Manufacturing. They offer it for $89+ s&h (grip and adapter). Pretty good looking and unlike adding a rail, you;d still have the original front hand guard undrilled and original.

Of course, if you wanted to do the "Walter Mitty" thing and add upwards of 30 pounds of accessories to your gun in a vain attempt to look "ATAS" you can always go with a full rail replacement.

There's all sorts of options.:D

Here's a shot of one, I used to sell the K-grips with a momentary contact switch installed for connection to a laser (end of the cocking tube). I never really liked the looks of the velcro connected pressure switches on the outside of the forearms/grips. This particular one has had the extension piece permanently attached with epoxy.

A similar set up on an MP5/94 Target Forearm:
