My thoughts exactly, and good feedback indeed. If people are intent on waiting for 2000, as a vendor, I'll prolly pass on these, just because there may not be a lot of room to work with. It seems like colored MK23s might be a routine part of the line up, like how colored VP9s were.

HK is releasing some MK23s in OD Green here soon. I don't really have the details in regards to how many there are. I actually tried to get these done as a vendor exclusive through us a while ago, but they decided to go through normal channels.

FDE MK23s are also coming back for another round of those. Below is the brochure for OD Green. I don't think it's an actual photo of the pistol itself, just because the color looks a bit off.

Is this something that y'all are interested in? It seems like colored MK23s aren't going to be limited in any sort of capacity moving forward.

I have the black MK23, the FDE MK23, so to complete the set I'm legally obligated to get the ODG MK23 right?

At least thats what I'm going to tell my wife when she sees the credit card charge go through.

 

It really is the only logical way to prepare her for the Urban Gray MK23 that will be needed later.

I personally am ready for some urban grey love....I am eagerly anticipating the OD green experts coming but grey is a color I need in my safe.

 

I would certainly love to get a green Mk23, but it would be nice if we could confirm that they will just be regular production or “Limited Availability” as the brochure seems to indicate. Any chance @TeufelshundTactical has any information to share?

@JooJooBurger, I’d commit to one now if I could also be sure to grab one of the inbound ODG USP Expert 9mms too. 🤤 Actually thinking about grabbing another ODG USP9 Tac as well.

 

I have zero inside info, but it does seem that part of the new HKUSA initiative will be importing more color options. In addition to the new ODG MK23s; some examples are the FDE MK23s, the new RAL8000 SP5s that are incoming, and the fact that the ODG and FDE USPs seem to be coming in greater numbers than we originally thought.

Here's hoping that Urban Grey USPs make a return at some point!

I'm not sure where you are getting this, my friend?

HK released ODG USPs in exactly the numbers ordered by @JooJooBurger and there's no indication that more are inbound. So ODG USPs are not coming in anything other than what's been advertised so far.

FDE USP9s were released in 2 or 3 large runs by HKO and who knows what's coming down the pike for those. FDE USP45s in a few configurations were ordered in limited quantities of 500 or 1000 each (still trying to nail that down) by Lipsey's so we got what's expected there and nothing more.

Maybe I'm misinterpting your comment and you mean we are getting these large Lipsey's and Rooftop batches that we didn't expect compared to the drips and drabs of 2018-2022?

I like the green color, will look nice with my USP and USP Tactical already and still waiting for the Experts. However, I thought these colors would be limited editions. If they are going to be regular production, I will hold out until prices are reasonable.

 

From what I'm seeing, it looks like the colored MK23s are going to be a part of their continued seasonal line-up as regular production items.

I never realized that guns in matching colors was a thing... I understood different colors, but I suppose it's the natural progression of addiction. I think I need a program.

 

@hwycac with HK the challenge is to get one of each in each color available. Who ever has them all at the end of the game wins. My only problem is they keep adding more faster than the money comes in.
Oh well, sounds like it is time to add another HK or two to the collection.
