Just got it today and put it on the CAG 416 build:
Take a look at the commercially available version of the riser which may answer your questions:OK, so if I understand this, the "screw" would attach the magnifier to the riser?
I'm sorry if I'm confused, this is my first look @ this product. Thank BTW.
It took a few of months for them to ship the preorders but part of the delay was because they ran into an issue with tolerances after anodizing. Now that they've gotten that dialed in, the lead times will most likely be shorter should they do another round of preorders. What's the "average" wait time to grab one of these? if that's even possible to answer? Any "other" trusted sources? Thanks in advance.
For those lucky enough "end users" what is the difference in the option for the flip mount with the "integral" or "thumb screw" ? choices?
I don't he's going to divulge that information to meYou can try reaching out to him on IG and ask where he got it anodized.
Quick question? how much of a (noticeable) difference is there in the riser height? I understand the lower/closer bore height argument, however I'm just wondering if there much of a real difference? ThanksThanks for the photos, OP. I finally could snag one from the Bigtex drop, which sold out in 10 minutes for the .410 model, which they had 10 in stock. For those that are looking for an NV setup, they have two left for the .625 height:

Nice. I have one on my Noveske in black and the new HK AR pistol grip which should be here in a week. 🤙Just got it today and put it on the CAG 416 build:

Quarter of an inch difference between the two heights. I think it's noticeable. Similar to cowitness and lower 1/3. Just enough to notice but not enough to affect your cheek position.Quick question? how much of a (noticeable) difference is there in the riser height? The order will come wilcox iron sight riser sections that account for the height of the optic riser. Not sure how useable it is with a 1/3 cowitness eotech like the EXPS since this mount was developed for a unit that uses an absolute cowitness eotech (XPS model)I guess if you're not running "irons" it may not be a "deal breaker"?
There are a few of the 5/8 version still available online?![]()
So I'm currently running a HWS EXPS3 and the G33, I don't use any "irons" at all. In your opinion? do you think the height difference is worth the wait? Thanks in advance. BTO had 3,so I could be G2GThe order will come wilcox iron sight riser sections that account for the height of the optic riser. Yeah as tempting as the 5/8 may be, I agree with @Om3ga9000 that you should hold off since they're going to be offering the .410 again.I guess if you're not running "irons" it may not be a "deal breaker"?

Great information!I can't answer that since everyone likes the height of their optics a little different. I like lower 1/3rd best, which is variable from mfg to mfg. Typically it is between 1.5-1.7 or so. So your eotech EXPS alone sits at that 1.7 height, throw in .625 and you got 2.3" height. Since this is on an HK AR style rifle, it has a built in riser already due to the piston so it's a little higher than 2.3". So me personally, I would not get the 5/8th's riser. All that being said, sight height is all personal preference.
