Legality wise I wonder if it is possible to have the receiver remarked to what ever you want "hk g36" etc. After you form 1 it and have that match what you put on the paper work just as you would do a remarked sl8/conversion? But you keep the receivers serial number on it but just redo the square and 2 rectangle info. And bypass the weld business and sl8 cutout serial.

The remarking you suggest (Model designation change, etc) must be done BEFORE you Form 1.

Agreed, receiver is great. Letting S5 put it together ( the parts kit ) seems like a great deal. As stated, as soon as I got replacement hkp lower, bho and everything else runs like a top.
